Star Trek should have gone the sci-fi thriller route, instead of the action film route. I’m watching TNG right now, there are episodes that rival some of the best sci-fi writing in Blade Runner, anything from Philip K. Dick, and IMO, are far superior to HBO’s Westworld, which was a huge hit.
