Seasons 1 and 2 are okay. They are much more for kids than in other seasons. After that though, it’s absolutely amazing. I would highly suggest watching all the arcs. Even the jar ones. For me (I’m 50 and saw all the movies the first day they were in theaters), Clone Wars brings to light what drove a whiney little brat to become a badass Sith Lord.
