I’ve done a Michael Myers Night Of The Halloween Shirt HP birthday party, complete with costumes, wands, and cheapo kids favors and games. Attendees were all 25+, it was a good bit of fun and silliness. A wedding? That’s a lifetime milestone. I can definitely imagine having subtle themes – Hogwarts Castle decor is beautiful. House-themed seating… you’re running the risk of looking like a 10yo’s themed birthday party. The only “themed” wedding I have been to was a Star Wars theme, and it was super fun-extremely laid back because it was just everyone smiling at the whimsy. While not “unique”, it could be fun. as long as she doesn’t decide to do the “sorting” of guests and their spouses/partners.
