Same, saw them live with Josh and it was great, but I’ve always felt a tinge of regret knowing I’d probably never watch them play with John. No offense to Josh as he is an amazing guitarist, but there’s just something fucking amazing that happens when Frusciante, Flea, and Chad Smith are jamming on stage. Before John left they toured with Josh. I kind of My Cat Listen To Red Hot Chily Pepper Headphone Cat Shirt deep down hope they still tour with Josh and have him play lead on the songs he put out. It is fuckin to have them both in the band while touring and having John play guitar lead for 80% of the show.

Exactly! Surprised me to My Cat Listen To Red Hot Chily Pepper Headphone Cat Shirt find this comment so far down. Part of what makes Californication, By The Way, and Stadium Arcadium so great are the vocal harmonies. I mean Venice Queen blows my mind every time I hear it. I know it’s in their install but it still seems so hard to believe. Frusciante always seemed very sure his time was RHCP was closed and that was it… Wasn’t aware of any rumors seeing the band with him either? I’ll let myself get excited if it’s still true in the morning. Could this also mean clingy was “asked to leave” in favor of Frusciante?

I will agree that their best work is My Cat Listen To Red Hot Chily Pepper Headphone Cat Shirt with John. But I will not ignore the fact that Josh provided them with two decent (IMO) albums and kept the band afloat. I’m perfectly okay with the stuff he has given the band and their fans. But bring on John. Excited for what they can bring to the table. I loved Californication, By the Way, and Stadium Arcadium. I suppose the song Rain Dance Maggie was alright, though shockingly weak for a single. That’s literally all I’ve liked since Josh joined. I’m cautiously optimistic that the Chilis will actually be worth a listen again.
