When 3M introduced masking tape it was intended for use in the automotive industry painting cars. Spray on paints like that don’t peel off like latex. So you can pull when dry. Basically, no matter how well you mask or how good your tape is, it is impossible to pull a clean line with latex paint if it’s more than halfway to dry. If its all the way dry, you are gonna be pulling up sheets of paint along with your tape, not just messing up the Nice Dogs Guard Cats Watch And Judge Vintage Shirt. Go over your tape with a credit card when you are masking, just to make sure it’s as flat as possible.

The paint really depends on the level of quality you want. Latex paint isn’t my favorite. Because it has a meh texture and never goes on smooth. You will always see brush marks and other stuff. But its quick and easy, and is totally the way to go if you don’t wanna spend a ton of time on it. Remember, house paints are made for walls. They aren’t looked at very closely, and the Nice Dogs Guard Cats Watch And Judge Vintage Shirt. What I like to do is, go with some nice spray paints and use a proper technique. You really can end up with a nice automotive type finish on just about anything with spray paint, as long as you use good paint. And you take your time.

Then painting the design in however many layers it takes for said design, then spraying on a 2 part clear coat with hardener, then sanding that with different grits again to smooth out the transitions between the Nice Dogs Guard Cats Watch And Judge Vintage Shirt. That last bit of clear coat determines what it’s going to look like. It is a lot harder than regular brush-on the paint. But I have painted car wheels, bike frames, and various other things with this method and the results look like they came out of a factory. It is insane. Most people don’t give spray paints the credit they deserve because they slap on a layer of paint and call it good.
