I shoot a lot of architecture and was curious so went for a stroll around our local Gurudwara in Gravesend, U.K. Place is huge and only built 5 years ago. In Vancouver’s Premium Godfidence Knowing I Can’t But He Can Shirts Downtown East Side (an area notorious for homelessness and drug abuse) they set up every weekend and feed sometimes hundreds of people a hearty meal of rice and dhal, with a cup of chai as well. They don’t skimp either! It’s really good food. I would sometimes get a plate when I worked down there. The Sikh community brings so much to our province and we are lucky they are here. I went to one in Delhi! It was a really incredible experience. What the Sikhs do for their communities is remarkable. And the meals are vegetarian because their wonderful compassion extends to all living creatures. Sikhs are wonderful.
