Oh my goodness! My sister had a Teacher Shamrock Symbol St Patrick’s Day Shirt baby doll when we were kids. You would hug it and it would talk. Anyway, when the battery would start to die it would say that whole spiel but really slowly with a really deep voice. One time a visiting kid tried to play with my sister’s doll. She snatched it off my sister and ran away. Only to promptly drop the doll and run screaming to her mum because it all of a sudden. You reminded me of when tickle-me Elmo was one of the hot Christmas toys. My little sister loved the shit out of Sesame Street and my mom knew exactly what she needed to get that year. Took me with her to Walmart on Black Friday, waited out in the cold, rushed in among the chaos and violent vendees.

It left my poor mom’s mouth agape on the sofa, paling as she starts to piece together the multipolar moment she just witnessed; Feeling as though with a single move she ruined Christmas, sesame street, and hugs for her daughter.
