From a UK perspective, the We’re Not Going Home Shirt better centrist sources (Financial Times, The Economist, The Times (to an extent) are behind paywalls. The Telegraph is behind a paywall but that is right-wing, and the journalism is generally weaker anyway. Why would my stress and anxiety levels drop? Knowing that so many people get all their news from sources with an agenda causes me stress, whether or not I’m reading those sources myself. I agree these are some of the best news sources and I take this advice to heart, even checking out right-wing sources like Fox to compare perspectives.

Left-wing media is still overwhelmingly more We’re Not Going Home Shirt factual than equivalently popular right-wing media. With free sources, that leave the Guardian, the Mail, the Mirror, the Sun, the Independent, and the BBC. The Guardian and the Mirror lean to the left, the Mail, Sun, and Express to the right. The BBC is ostensibly impartial. Only the Guardian and BBC are credible enough to use for citation in academia, though both have their own issues. AP and Reuters are a good shout. It is little wonder UK politics is so polarised when the free options generally lean one way or another.
