I am a nurse, though no longer in the hospital. My husband had a cardiac arrest and I did CPR on him. He is in ICU recovering. You should really make this hospital policy. Multiple family members will call to get updates on the same patient. It takes my time away from my patients to tell the same story to multiple people. Elect one member and have only them call.
